Открывает сезон пустынный остров к югу от Папуа — Новой Гвинеи: переправа через пролив с акулами, осыпающиеся вулканические скалы и самодельный бамбуковый виндсёрфер вместо лодки. Дальше крокодилы Северной Австралии, заснеженный Кавказ в Грузии, куда Гриллс въезжает на снегоходе прямо из висящего вертолёта, и Мохаве с прыжком HALO с девяти тысяч метров. Канадские Скалистые горы выходят боком по-настоящему: героя накрывает лавиной и эвакуируют вертолётом в больницу.
